About Clive Pyne
Clive is a professional freelance indexer who writes concise, well structured back-of-the book indexes on a wide range of topics. He mentored under a seasoned professional indexer before launching his own indexing business.
With a BSc degree in biological sciences, he conducted research under polar ice in the Canadian Arctic. Prior to entering the publishing field, he was in university administration at the University of Toronto, human resource management, and a management consulting practice serving clients in both government and small to large sized organizations. He is the author of a book on compensation management for pay equity.
Clive has a warm disposition, a sense of humour, and a real commitment to getting work
done correctly and on time. He is a good communicator, self-starting, thorough, reliable
and will do whatever it takes to get the job done on time and on budget. He provides the
